Our trip to Namibia was also amazing from a birding standpoint. We saw 128 species of bird, and 124 that we'd never seen before.
In Germany, we birded for only a few hours at the Stadwaldt Forest in Frankfurt, seeing the following species (* indicates a "lifer"):
